1 pound ground venison
2 TB olive oil
2 TB butter
3 TB red wine vinegar
2 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup coconut flour
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt & pepper
Cheddar cheese slices
Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Combine together with hands or with a fork - do not over mix.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. While pan is heating, shape patties out of the mixture - this should make 4 venison patties.
Place patties one-by-one onto the pan and make sure they do not touch. Cook for 6 minutes on each side. For the third minute on each side's cooking time, place a lid over the skillet and cook for the remaining 3 minutes to ensure burgers stay juicy.
For the last 3 minutes of cook time, if desired, place cheese slices over the patties so they will melt.
Server over your choice of bun will all the fixins!
